Overview
Hearthline is an open source AI front desk for home-service businesses — trades, maintenance and field service companies where the owner is on a job when the phone rings.
It answers and qualifies inbound enquiries, captures job details and produces quotes, instead of leaving work on voicemail.
The challenge
For a home-service business an unanswered enquiry is usually a lost job — the caller moves to the next result. But the people best placed to answer are the ones out doing the work.
Answering services take a message without capturing the details needed to actually schedule and price a job.
The solution
A conversational intake flow that asks the qualifying questions a dispatcher would ask and records structured job details rather than free-form notes.
Lead capture and quoting built on top of that structured intake, so an enquiry arrives ready to act on.
Released under AGPL-3.0 so businesses can self-host it.
