Rashid LLC is a software technology company registered in the United States, working with clients internationally. We provide software engineering, AI automation, cloud and DevOps, and technical consulting services.
Our work spans the full lifecycle of a system: understanding the business process it needs to support, designing the architecture, building it, deploying it properly, and keeping it running afterwards. Some engagements are a complete product build. Others are a specific capability — an API, a cloud migration, an AI workflow, an architecture review — added alongside an existing team.
Alongside client engagements, Rashid LLC builds and operates its own software products and technology brands. Those products are where we absorb the cost of our own decisions, and they keep the company's practice anchored in shipping and operating real systems rather than only advising on them.
Software is a means, not the point.
The business problem comes first
We ask what the process costs today and what changing it is worth before proposing anything. If the answer is that software is not the right intervention, that is a legitimate outcome of a conversation with us.
Small scope, shipped, beats large scope, planned
A narrow first release that real users touch teaches you more than months of specification. We push for the smallest version that proves the idea, then build outward from evidence.
Boring technology where it counts
Databases, queues and deployment are places to be conservative. We choose well-understood tools with real operational track records, and save novelty for the parts that are cheap to replace.
Handover is part of the job
Code you cannot maintain without us is a liability we created. Documentation, tests and a clean handover are part of delivery, not an upsell — including when a client takes the work in-house.

Who runs the company
Rashid is a software engineer and the founder of Rashid LLC. His work centres on backend and platform engineering: designing APIs and data models, building AI-assisted workflows into real business processes, and running the cloud infrastructure those systems depend on.
He stays hands-on. Every engagement is led by an engineer who writes code, reviews architecture and is accountable for what ships — not handed to a layer of account managers. That is a deliberate choice about how the company operates, and it shapes the kind of work Rashid LLC takes on.
Alongside client work, he builds and maintains the products and technical education brands operated under Rashid LLC, which keeps the team's practice close to shipping, production systems rather than theory.
Rashid LLC is a small, engineering-led company. We do not publish a headcount we do not have, and where an engagement needs specialist capability beyond ours, we say so and either bring in a trusted collaborator with your agreement or point you elsewhere.

How does an engagement usually start?
With a conversation about the problem — not a proposal. If it looks like a fit, we run a short discovery to agree scope, architecture and success criteria in writing, then quote against that. You own the discovery output whether or not you continue with us.
Do you work with clients outside the United States?
Yes. Rashid LLC is a US-registered company working with clients internationally. Work is conducted remotely, with meeting times agreed around your working hours and written updates so progress does not depend on being in the same time zone.
How do you price projects?
Fixed scope for defined deliverables, or a monthly retainer for continuing work and support. Both are agreed in writing before work starts. We do not begin billable work on an undefined scope.
Who owns the code you write?
You do. On full payment, ownership of the custom code and assets built for your project transfers to you, along with repository access, infrastructure credentials and documentation. There is no lock-in to us as a supplier.
Can you work with our existing engineering team?
Yes. We work alongside in-house teams regularly — taking a defined workstream, providing architecture and code review, or covering a specific capability such as cloud infrastructure or AI engineering.
What happens after the project launches?
You choose. We offer ongoing maintenance and support agreements, or a documented handover to your team with a transition period. Either way you leave with the code, the infrastructure and the documentation.
